As a former Trustee at the local library (Traverse Area District Library), I strongly agreed with the principled stand you took on the recent Member Library funding dispute. (ref: your earlier posting on that topic)
I know that the many supporters of Peninsula Community Library will appreciate your continued support on this issue, which is temporarily patched up but which will re-open with new negotiations in late 2011.
They need to know that their rep on the GT County Commission will be taking into consideration the best longterm interests of PCL, and will reflect the local community as well as being the taxpayers’ advocate in seeking the best library services for every dollar of taxpayer millage.
You are just the man to do all that, Jason. You have my support. GG
